Dear BGRA members
The latest guidance from the governor shows us most likely entering Phase 3 regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic. With that in mind it has become clear that we are not going to be able have our normal HOUSE LEAGUE season. The BGRA board has made the difficult decision to cancel the HOUSE LEAGUE season. This is for the T-Ball through Colt leagues and Buddy Baseball. This does NOT include Senior Colt, Bearcats, Coyotes, or Bruins Baseball at this time.
We will begin issuing refunds directly to the credit card that was used originally during the registration process. These
refunds are in full except for $7.25 which helps us to recover some of
the processing costs. The refunds will begin in the next 10-15 days.
We
are hoping that we may be able to offer baseball in the coming months
and if that becomes a reality, we will open registration at that time
with modified pricing. This will be based on further guidance from the
governor of Illinois as well as the Village of Buffalo Grove and the
Buffalo Grove Park District.
Keep in mind that baseball is in our DNA and we have NEVER failed to bring youth baseball to the community in nearly 60 years. Because
of the support of our member families, our sponsors, and the close
relationship we have with the Buffalo Grove Park District the BGRA is
strong, and we will survive this almost unimaginable situation. With your continuing support we will be bringing baseball to all youth of Buffalo Grove and surrounding communities soon.
