BGRA Members
With
baseball games allowed in phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan, BGRA is
going to bring baseball back to Buffalo Grove. We understand the
concerns our families have during these times and BGRA plans to follow
the IDPH (IL Dept of Public Health) guidelines for youth baseball. With
that in mind, BGRA is going to proceed as follows………
- Registration
is now OPEN. NO fees will be collected until we reach phase 4 of the
Restore Illinois plan and have permission to start games. Due to website
limitations, please use “SIGN UP FOR WAITLIST” when registering your
child. Registration can be found HERE by accessing your account page.
- Registration will remain open through June 21st so sign up right away.
- Teams will be drafted the week of June 22nd (except for T-Ball & Pinto which will be formed by league directors)
- Practices
may begin as soon as teams are formed. We will follow all appropriate
health and safety guidelines in place at that time.
- The season will consist of 14-18 games; starting mid-July and go through September, conditions permitting.
- Reduced League Fees:
- T-Ball or Pinto - $125
- Farm, Stallion, T-Bred, Palomino or Colt - $200
Please
pass the word along to your friends and families that BGRA is playing
baseball. Even if they didn’t sign up during the regular season, they
can sign up now. Don’t delay, the signup window is very short as we have
a limited time to get leagues formed and practices scheduled prior to
games. Please keep an eye out for regular emails from us pertaining to
the season as this is a fluid situation and there are several factors
outside of BGRA's control that will determine how we may proceed with
playing baseball.
